Lamp 01 (Eclipse) is a contemporary sculptural object that explores the dual nature of the Naxos marble “Kristallina” -at once solid and seemingly weightless- creating a subtle paradox of gravity. Two marble discs are mounted on steel plates, which are supported by slender steel rods rising from a solid base.

In daylight, the object moves with quiet rhythm, its marble surfaces gently swaying in a slow search for equilibrium.

At night, the lamp transforms: light reveals the stone’s translucency, and the heavy forms appear to hover -like drifting moons, or fragile balloons suspended in stillness.
